Polish Independence Day

On November 11th Poland celebrates National Independence Day. The date commemorates events of 1918 when Poland regained independence after 123 years of partitions.

Every year our school celebrates this day. Students prepare short staging about our country’s history. We sing patriotic songs and decorate our school in the colours of the Polish flag – white and red. 

We can enjoy our freedom and be proud of our homeland.

 Two years ago we saw funny video clip about unicorns. This song stayed in our minds for a long time. When we decided to write the blog, the name was obvious.

We are from Sulęcin, a small town at the west of Poland. We are in Szkoła Podstawowa im. Polskich Olimpijczyków ('Polish Olympians' Primary School).
